Note: which format to use is a question of formality, politeness and
personal choice. Generally, the longer formats, such as B or C, are more
polite (since they show more respect for the reader). Shorter formats,
such as D or E, are used in less formal situations, for example a memo, a
letter between friends or an impersonal business letter. Format F is
rather official and is typically seen on an invoice or an official or
technical document. Format A is extremely formal and mainly used on
printed items, for example a wedding invitation. The numerical formats
may use a full stop (.) or hyphen (-) instead of a slash (/), for
example: 14.3.2011 or 03-14-11

Writing the Date
There are several different ways to write the date in English. They vary from formal to informal, and there are differences between British and American English. The following table shows some typical formats.| Format | British: Day-Month-Year | American: Month-Day-Year |

Note that another format exists which writes the date

Telemark University College Weather System 
| Telemark University College Weather System App
gives you current weather data and various weather trends from a weather
station located in Telemark University College, Porsgrunn. At Telemark University College (TUC) we have established two Weather Systems for presenting the weather at Telemark University College. The systems can be used to create weather models and forecasting as well. The Weather is presented on different platforms, such as Web, iPhone/iPad (iOS), Windows 8 and Android. Weather System I
This Weather System uses a Capricorn 2000EX Weather Station from Columbia Weather Systems.At Telemark University College (TUC) we have established a Weather System for presenting the weather at Telemark University College.
The system is showing the weather data from the weather station located at TUC. The system shall be used to create weather models and forecasting. The weather system have a SDK/API that makes it possible to retrieve data in different manners, including Web Services. APIs have also been created for the following languages: C#, LabVIEW, MATLAB and Python. An OPC API is also available in these 4 languages. These APIs make it possible to retrieve data from the system and create your own weather models used in forecasting and weather prediction.
In the future, the weather system will be extended with more features, including more advanced weather prediction and forecasts, but also native Apps for iOS, Android and Windows 8 will be developed.

Android: If you have Android or iPhone, you can still use use the Data
Dashboard for LabVIEW, but the App has less features than the iPad App.

Stars!The Windows 8 App shows weather data from the weather station at TUC, in addition to forecast data from yr.no. It also shows news, events and other information from TUC. You may add news her (Note! a username and a password is required).

SDK
The Weather SDK can be used to retrieve weather data to your local PC. The weather data can then be used to create weather models and forecasting. The SDK includes Web Services as well as APIs for the following languages: C#, LabVIEW, MATLAB and Python. An OPC API is also available in these 4 languages.
