Sozi es un software open source, que corre bajo la plataforma GNU/Linux. A diferencia de una presentación tradicional, hecha con PowerPoint o Impress, Sozi trabaja con un archivo .SVG y una secuencia de planos, por lo que la presentación se convierte en una animación que va fluyendo por las distintas partes de la misma.
Sozi es una extensión del Inkscape, que se utiliza para crear gráficos vectoriales. Nuestra presentación se realiza sobre una única imagen, tipo póster, en la cual vamos distribuyendo libremente el contenido, ya sea texto o imágenes.
Una vez que hemos colocado el contenido, se van definiendo los distintos Frames, que son enfoques rectángulares que podemos posicionar cómo más nos guste. Luego, se definen las transiciones entre frames y se configuran los atributos tales como velocidad, rotación, zoom, etc. De esta manera, nuestra presentación queda mucho más fluída y dinámica, además de ser mucho más original que un simple PowerPoint

Sozi is a small program that can play animated presentations.
Unlike in most presentation applications, a Sozi document is not organized as a slideshow, but rather as a poster where the content of your presentation can be freely laid out. Playing such a presentation consists in a series of translations, zooms and rotations that allow to focus on the elements you want to show.
Sozi is based on open standards. It is free software distributed according to the terms of the GPL 3.0.

A Sozi presentation is an SVG
document in which a sequence of “frames” is defined.
A frame is a rectangular region of the document associated with
presentation and animation information (e.g. title, ordering, transition
duration).

Show
Documents produced by Inkscape and Sozi can be displayed and animated by web browsers supporting the SVG format, and the Javascript language. The user can control the presentation using the mouse and keyboard.
